INTC Welcomes 30 Students from 11 Nationalities to Certificate in Thai for Foreigners 2026
On 5 October 2026, the International College (INTC), Udon Thani Rajabhat University, held an orientation for the Certificate in Thai for Foreigners programme for the 2026 academic year. The programme welcomed 30 students representing 11 nationalities. University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Khanisara Thanyasunthornsakun delivered welcoming remarks, joined by university executives, lecturers, staff, and programme participants.
The programme develops Thai communication skills alongside an understanding of Thai language, arts, culture, and everyday life. Classroom learning is complemented by activities beyond the classroom, helping participants use Thai confidently in daily communication.
This year’s participants come from China, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Denmark, Japan, France, Sweden, the Philippines, and Thailand. Their diverse backgrounds create opportunities to exchange perspectives and learn together across cultures.
Throughout the programme, lecturers and student mentors will support participants through intensive Thai language classes, cultural activities, field trips, and community visits. These experiences provide opportunities to practise Thai in real situations and gain firsthand insight into local ways of life.
Through the Certificate in Thai for Foreigners programme, INTC continues to advance intercultural learning and the university’s international engagement, connecting students from different countries through Thai language and culture.
