INTC Hosts Vietnam Quiz Competition to Mark 50 Years of Thai–Vietnamese Relations
Fifteen secondary schools took part in a competition celebrating Vietnamese language, society, and culture at Udon Thani Rajabhat University.
The International College of Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU), in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, organized the “General Knowledge Quiz Competition on Vietnam (Language, Society, and Culture).” The event formed part of the Thai–Vietnamese Cultural Festival, celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Mrs. Panjan Sriphuthorn, Secretary to the President of the Association of Vietnamese in Thailand, honored the event by serving on the judging panel and delivering an address to participants at Udon Thani Rajabhat University.
Knowledge, Quick Thinking, and Teamwork
The competition attracted teams from 15 secondary schools across Udon Thani and neighboring provinces. An on-stage short-answer format tested students’ knowledge, concentration, quick thinking, and ability to work together. Participants demonstrated their understanding of Vietnamese language, history, society, and cultural heritage.
Building Lasting Friendship
The activity encouraged Thai youth to develop an accurate and comprehensive understanding of a neighboring country, helping to build lasting friendship between the two nations.
Following the competition, participants attended the official opening ceremony of the Thai–Vietnamese Cultural Festival and explored an exhibition highlighting the history of diplomatic ties and the strategic partnership between Thailand and Vietnam.
